It’s alright, let’s push through!

So how are we this morning?! Still sleepy from the time change and the end of daylight savings? I know I was yesterday, and it was raining so that didn’t help either.

Anywho, remember last week when I rounded up 5 of my favorite food bloggers? Well apparently you guys really liked it, so today I’ll be doing another roundup featuring 5 of my favorite blogs that focus on healthy living or fitness.

If these 5 blogs don’t make you laugh, smile, or feel good about yourself, then I don’t know what will!

(Again, in no particular order)

1. Peanut Butter Fingers

Julie does it all. Not only is she a full-time blogger, but she’s also a freelance writer, food lover, personal trainer, group exercise instructor, and a kicka** mama! Julie’s blog is special to me because hers was one of the first ones I found about healthy living and fitness. I didn’t know what a blog was at the time or understand why she felt like she had to talk about her life on the Internet. Now that I think of it, Julie’s blog was probably the first one I EVER followed. After reading her posts each day, I became so intrigued with the world of blogging and healthy living so I contemplated starting my own blog. Thanks for the inspiration Julie!! 🙂 Along with a focus on living an active and healthy life, PB Fingers follows her adventures with her husband Ryan (and their families), their baby Chase, and their crazy but adorable dog, Sadie. Julie’s fun writing style, emphasis on friends and family, and overall happiness is sure to make you smile when you read it. 🙂 Her “Things I’m Loving Friday” posts have always been a favorite of mine!

2. In It 4 The Long Run

Health. Purpose. Joy. If there were only three words I could pick to describe Georgie’s blog, those would be it. She keeps things real, because, as Georgie says, “I’m not into perfect. I tried that once. It didn’t work very well. But I am into joy, and chasing it relentlessly, even if that means getting a few bruises on the way.” After realizing she’d rather be happy than work a 9-5 everyday, Georgie quit her full-time job and is now a barista by day and blogger by night. I admire her for finding what makes her truly happy and just going for it! Besides giving the BEST and WISEST advice, Georgie also posts delicious plant-based recipes and is my #1 resource for anything to do with blogging. Knowing how hard it is to drop everything and do what makes you happy, Georgie’s Blogger Resources page is the place to help you build an awesome community, improve your photography skills, and increase your social media traffic. Fun fact: she and her best friend Christina (more on her in a sec) just recently launched their newest blogging resource website, Bloggers Gonna Blog, because “it takes a village to build a blog”. The #bgbcommunity is a place where healthy living/fitness bloggers can come together to learn, grow, and share ideas with one another. I’m SO proud to be a member of this amazing community. Check out my pretty unicorn badge on the sidebar! Bottom line: I wanna be her best friend.

3. The Blissful Balance

Remember when I said Georgie’s best friend is also the co-founder of the #bgbcommunity? Yeah. Say hello to Christina, the Florida-based blogger behind The Blissful Balance! Similar to Georgie, Christina left her full-time sales job to pursue what truly made her happy: work for a fitness technology startup company and devote more time to her blog. Speaking of blog, The Blissful Balance is dedicated to enjoying the simple pleasures of life, maintaining a healthy mind and body, and a perfect mix of healthy and indulgent recipes. Why the blissful “balance”, you ask? Well, like me, Christina suffered from an obsession with eating healthily and exercising way too much. Long story short, she realized that it wasn’t worth it to sweat the small stuff in life and it’s better to enjoy everything in moderation. She, like Georgie, gives fantastic advice for being happy on the inside AND out, and always preaches for self-love and enjoying life! Her friendship with Georgie makes me so happy and they’re such an awesome pair.

4. MindBodyGreen

Last but certainly not least….

5. Fit Foodie Finds

When she’s not teaching Yoga Sculpt and/or taking pictures of her food, Lee Hersh is the brains behind her main blog, Fit Foodie Finds, and the co-writer of two other blogs, SHE Uncovered and The Blogger Project. Phew, busy lady! Let’s just say that like many other bloggers I’ve discovered, she too decided to quit her full-time job to dedicate all of her time to Fit Foodie Finds. It’s a blog Lee started in college that’s devoted to healthy living, along with nourishing recipes and occasional (but necessary) indulgences, fun workouts, and everything else in between. After suffering and recovering from a binge eating disorder, I love that Lee’s blog advocates for “feeling good in your own skin, making mistakes, and living your life in a way that makes you happy”. Although I’ve only been following Lee for a year, I’m amazed at how far she’s come in such a short amount of time Guess what? She has a best friend who’s a blogger too! (Check out Davida’s blog, The Healthy Maven!) Lee’s sarcastic humor, inviting writing style, and gorgeous photography will make you want to pack up, move to Minneapolis, and be her best friend forever. (So anyone have a ticket to Minneapolis…?!)

Well that’s all folks! Take a tip from these amazing bloggers and BE WELL, okay? <3
