It’s 6:00 AM. Alarm goes off. I sleepily sigh, stretch, and roll out of bed.
Coffee pot goes on.
Do social media work, check emails, and sip my delicious coffee. (By the way, I just bought THIS creamer and I love it!)
Head to 7AM Pilates.
Get home, eat breakfast, and get ready for Modern class at 9:40AM.
Now that you know what my Tues/Thurs mornings will probably look like, you must think I’m crazy. 😉 Maybe I am, but I do love my early mornings. 🙂 I’ve loved them ever since I got to college 4 years ago, but yesterday morning I had a moment.
THIS IS IT, you guys…here we go…
Yesterday marked the first day of my LAST semester of college. Ummm, whoa, didn’t I just move into the dorms and meet my Converse-loving roommate whom I still adore?! Wasn’t I just in Italy with my family before college?! Time flies FOR SURE!
Yeah I may have already been dreading the semester like I always do, but over break I realized that I only have less than 4 months left before I have to hit the “real” adult world. Less than 4 months stand between me and a college degree.
I’m aiming to make this last semester the BEST one yet. Yes, I might also have said that before, but this time I truly mean it. One final push to the end and all my hard work will have paid off. Besides, I’m done with worrying about what other people think. I’m over the stand-offish professors who try to make you seem like they have some power over you.
This is it and I want to finish stronger, happier and healthier than I’ve ever been.
I’m going to try new things (including workouts and food) and appreciate the little things, like my daily quiet mornings, and enjoy it as much as I can. I won’t let the anxiety of my Senior Piece get to me because I trust my dancers and know they will make it incredible! I also know I’ll never ever be done learning, because learning doesn’t just stop after school ends.
“Learning without thought is labor lost; thought without learning is perilous.”
Cheers to a killer final semester and LIFE! 🙂
