Friday: Top 3’s ? A Dancer’s Live-It

Woooohoo can you believe it?

It’s Friday, it’s a holiday weekend, AND it’s already July 1st?! Yikes!

Big shoutout to my cousin Ryan whose birthday is today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUD! 🙂

Oh and Happy Canada Day to my neighbors from the North! 😉 Especially Davida and Abbey!

Per our usual Friday post, I’m linking up with Kate, of The Domestikated Life, to bring you my “tops” of the week.

Hope you all enjoy some fabulous eats, pics, and reads! <3

 Top 3 Lows

1. The painful process of transferring my blog to another host, setting it up, but having it crash for a couple days was SO stressful. I didn’t want to pay for someone to transfer it for me but if I ever update again I will. Technology is so dumb sometimes!
2. Slow drivers. Why is it that when I always have to be somewhere (like work) I get stuck behind an elderly driver? I get nervous with older people on the road, they really shouldn’t be driving. A lady I got stuck behind on Tuesday would sometimes swerve towards the oncoming cars and I was freaking out!
3. Waking up before my alarm. Damn you, biological clock! You just couldn’t let me sleep for another half hour?!

Top 3 Highs

1. My new job! I started my new job on Sunday at the front desk of the gym where my Dad belongs and I already like it a lot. 🙂 My co-workers are very friendly, helpful, and it’s SO NICE to not be working in a restaurant right now.
2. Having dessert almost every night for the past week! Oh ice cream, you always have my heart. <3 Even if it’s only a little bit, it’s nice to not have to worry about being afraid to eat dessert.
3. Walking to more places instead of driving. Since my Mom got home from Spain, she loved how much walking they did and wants to keep that up back at home. I totally get that because I go to school in a city. In the suburbs it’s so easy to hop in your car and get from point A to B quickly, but hey, why not walk more? It saves gas money and the environment, right? 🙂

Top 3 Instagrams

1. YES. This could not be more true!! We need carbs to live just as we need positive people to thrive! 🙂

Top 3 Reads

1. Recovery Writings – Blissful Lyss
Alyssa was kind enough to share some of her personal poems and journal entries about recovery. They are beautifully written, and it’s so important to recognize the therapeutic power of writing.
2. Get In The Know About What Eggs To Buy – RachLMansfield
I FINALLY know the difference between pasture-raised, free-range, and cage-free eggs! Some of the differences might surprise you. Such an awesome and informative read!
3. Creating A Life You Love (+ a giveaway!) – Peanut Butter Fingers
Such a great topic! How do YOU create a life that you love? For me, it’s spending time with friends, family, listening to music, eating delicious food, exercising, and dancing!

Now tell me…

  • Highlight of your week?
  • Any 4th of July plans?

Have a marvelous and relaxing weekend everyone, BE WELL! <3
