Link-Love Saturday #6: Veggie Balance

Good morning loves and happy Saturday!! ?

Nothing like starting off the day with a quick yoga practice to get you sweating and full of energy! I’ve got a longgg day of work ahead of me and I didn’t feel like running, so why not practice some yoga? Too much running isn’t good for my joints anyway, and now I feel so much better. ?

These protein pancakes helped a bit too….

Last night I received a comment on my How-To post from this week. I was flattered that these people reached out and it made me really happy:
“Hi there! This is my first visit to your blog!
We are a team of volunteers and starting a new initiative in a community in the same niche. Your blog provided us beneficial information to work on. You have done a wonderful job!”

I know this doesn’t mean much to some of you, but it’s comments like these that give me confidence. It’s comments like these that make me happy. This means that people are reading my blog and actually using my tips and tricks for their own benefit. That’s my goal here at A Dancer’s Live-It! I really want to continue inspiring people to live their lives in a healthy and happy way, without worry and stress. You guys are the best, and I’m so grateful for your support! I wouldn’t be here without you, so THANK YOU. ? Now, onto your usual “Link-Love Saturday” post!

If you want healthy recipes that are easy, breezy, and beautiful (Cover Girl…?), have I got a blog for you!

Please give a warm welcome to Lindsay, of Veggie Balance!

I stumbled upon Lindsay’s blog one day while searching for a peanut butter cookie recipe, and I decided to make hers because the recipe was so simple and soooo delicious!! (Make these ASAP, they’re amazing).

Whenever I find a new blog I like I always pop over to their “About Me” page or something of the nature. When I visited Lindsay’s page, I connected with her immediately:
“Not only did I cut out meat and fish, but I also got rid of all processed foods, limited milk and cheese, watched my sugar intake and my alcohol consumption (I’m bordering into a vegan lifestyle but haven’t taken the ultimate jump yet.). I started exercising 30 minutes a day, and that’s where I found my addiction to running”.

Can you say “twinning”?!

Seriously, I was so excited that another blogger was going through the same food change that I was! I immediately emailed Lindsay and told her about my unhealthy food obsession but how inspired I was by her philosophy and passion for living a healthy lifestyle. I knew that I wanted to inspire others in this same way, so I thought about creating a blog of my own! She could not have been sweeter and said that she “loved having a fellow passionate healthy eating friend, especially one that is a dancer”! Thanks Lindsay! ?

If there’s one thing I love about her blog, it’s the sense of BALANCE. I mean, the name says it all. (Veggie Balance!) You know how much I advocate for a balanced lifestyle! On her recipe page you will find healthy twists of your favorite recipes….Zucchini Lasagna, Peanut Butter Brownies, Healthy Cinnamon Rolls, Black Bean Burgers…OMG yummm. There is no reason to not to be able to satisfy your cravings in a healthier way! You’ll absolutely love Lindsay’s mouth-watering photos, her short and sweet posts, and her healthy all-natural products!

And speaking of products, at the beginning of every month, Lindsay reviews a product that she’s used or wouldn’t use again to help maintain her healthy lifestyle. I found this extremely helpful when searching for the perfect protein powder. I found her review of Sunwarrior Warrior Blend Protein Powder and now I definitely need to try it!

I truly appreciate Lindsay’s simple approach to eating healthy vegetarian and vegan recipes and living a healthy life. I am happy to have connected with another blogger who values health, happiness, and balance as much as I do. Like many other blogs, Veggie Balance continues to serve as a huge source of inspiration for me and my life.

You’ll find a few of Linsday’s recipes already on my blog, but I want to share this one with you now!

These will be perfect to take with me to work today when I’m feeling hungry but not quite ready for a meal yet. Time to get cookin’!
