Good morning everyone, happy Thursday!
Today’s Thinking Out Loud post is a little different than a usual one would be, but thanks to Lyss for giving me the idea!
Also thank you to Amanda from Running with Spoons for allowing me to share my random thoughts of the week.
With all of the things that I crush on every single day, it’s about time I gave you all my “Top 3’s” from the past week.
Let’s get to it, shall we?
You’ve already seen most of these pictures, sorry for repetition!
Top 3 Eats
1. My birthday dinner definitely took the “cake!” (Haha I’m hilarious). Everything was SO GOOD. Think you know Asian food? Think again.
2. These nut butters!!! Yes, I already opened the Dark Choco Roasted Pecan. It’s a game-changer! Thank you to my brother for these
3. Last, but certainly not least, brunch at Busboys and Poets! Not pictured: the vegan chocolate chip cookie that ended the meal.
Top 3 Lows
1. My “lady problem” that seems to go on forever along with PMS…sorry men!?
2. Missing home and my family…thankfully I’ll get to go home in a couple weeks for Memorial Day weekend. I haven’t been home since JANUARY!?
3. Being somewhat bored because my friends are either studying abroad or home already. Plus my class only meets twice a week but that’s okay.
Top 3 Highs
1. Obviously celebrating being 21 in D.C. It was such an amazing weekend!!
2. Started my summer class on Tuesday! Normally this would be a low for me, but I think the course is going to be so beneficial for my future and I already love my professor. He’s so witty, I love it. The course is called “Investing for the Future”…pretty cool right?!
3. PAYDAY is today! Haha who’s with me?!
Top 3 Instagrams
1. Okay, how awesome is this picture from Buzzfeed Food?! SO TRUE.
2. Love this quote from another health coach I know. I’m so thankful to have such a strong support system, especially from my parents.
3. I NEED TO MAKE THESE ASAP. Amy never fails!
Top 3 Reads
1. On The Definition of “Being Healthy” – Ambitious Kitchen
I adore Monique’s blog, especially her “Wellness Wednesday” posts. This one is near and dear to my heart.
2. How To Stop Feeling Guilty When You Eat – Imma Eat That
Yet another post near and dear to my heart. “…stop labeling food as good and bad. You give yourself permission to eat foods that satisfy you. You allow all foods to become legalized in your mind.” LOVE!
3. Green Goodness Salad – In It 4 The Long Run
Absolutely LOVE this recipe from Georgie. It’s simple, satisfying, and similar to the salad I had on Saturday from sweetgreen! (How many more “s” words can I fit into this sentence?!)
Now tell me…
- Highlight of your week so far?
- Do you feel guilty after eating certain foods?
Have a wonderful Thursday and BE WELL everyone!❤
